I was checking craigslist and Realized that I had completely forgotten how cheap golf Rs have become.

This one is $25,000, any thoughts?

Thoughts: you’re a fool if you pay the full sticker price. It’s not worth the price.

But if you let some other schmuck eat the heavy initial depreciation, you are not a fool.

Between the two, however, I’d probably get an S3 or an A4 quattro.

Mileage, service history, and previous owner’s age/maturity level?

High milage examples of the Golf R start at around ~17k - 18k Euros in Germany.
